2008 nordhouse dunes

This was a solo backpacking trip to the Nordhouse Dunes Wilderness Area near Ludington, Michigan to camp in the wilderness area and hike six miles or so to the Big Sable Lighthouse. Total hiking during the trip was close to twelve miles. I started hiking in the dark with headlamp at approximately 10:30 p.m. June 26. Hiked to the lighthouse and back on June 27. Left the wilderness area early morning June 28.
